Lucid Data announces the release of PDExpress 2015. The new release contains many new features and performance enhancements, including two highly requested capabilities – user defined routable forms and customizable page layouts. With user-defined forms, school districts can create any form (i.e., expense reports, medical authorization, HR/benefit selection, field trip, mentoring logs, etc.) that requires single or multi-level approval. And, with Custom page layouts, Lucid expands PDExpress’ flexibility by offering the ability for administrative users to create personalized custom page layouts. All PDExpress customers are now able download PDExpress 2015 from Lucid’s customer support center and upgrade (at no cost) when time permits.
On August 8, 1999 Lucid Data Corporation was founded by two entrepreneurs with the dream of helping school districts manage individual professional development plans for teachers. That dream was to invent a software technology that would give school districts a method for making it easier for teachers to create and submit their individual growth plans for review and approval. Since then, our software, PDExpress, has expanded to include a comprehensive professional development and teacher evaluation management system. Since the start, our belief has been that work is not simply a place, and that our software would empower and help teachers and administrators, by giving them easy access to their information anytime, anywhere and from any web-enabled device.
Over the last 15 years, we’ve held steadfast to the belief that it is paramount to listen carefully to your needs and challenges and anticipate the future on your behalf. You are the driving force behind Lucid, always pushing us to be our best and to do what’s right for you. Your support and continued trust in us are at the heart of our success. Thank you.
Today, Lucid continues to enhance PDExpress by adding new features and functionality as well as expand access to various mobile computing platforms. Lucid also recently announced the availability of a Cloud-based hosting option for new and existing customers, which greatly reduces, if not eliminates, the involvement of district technical support staff and the need for an expensive Server infrastructure.
Ultimately, the value of technology can only be measured by how it benefits you, our customers. That’s why we believe putting people at the center of technology is fundamental to our success and to yours. No matter what form devices take, how rich applications become, or over what networks information travels, it starts and ends with people – connecting them to what they need to do and what they need to achieve.
The first 15 years have been a fun and exciting journey, and we look forward to what the next 15 years will bring. We do know that the technology landscape is going to continue to change as will the requirements in managing professional learning and evaluations, and as these changes take place, we’ll be ready and so will you. That’s our promise to you and what a true partnership is really all about.
So, on behalf of the Lucid team, thank you for taking this journey with us and for sharing in our vision and our dreams.
Here’s to the next 15 Years!!
